Hi, I’m Fredrik Gustafsson, and welcome to my blog!
I’m based in a small town in Sweden, and I’m building an online business focused on affiliate marketing, content creation, email marketing and digital products.
But my background is probably a little different from what you might expect.
For many years, I worked in my family’s food-production business. Today, I’m working toward a completely different kind of business — one that offers more flexibility, independence and control over my time.
This website is where I document that journey.
My long-term goal is to build an online income of $10,000 per month.
I’m not there yet, but I’ve already made some encouraging progress. And I want to share what I’m learning, including the mistakes and setbacks along the way.
My Background: From Food Production to Online Business
Before getting involved in affiliate marketing, I spent many years working in my family’s food-production company in Sweden.
We produced traditional foods, including sausages, black pudding and liver pâté.
I worked across different areas of the business, including production, packaging, management, marketing, sales and finance.
I also have a Master’s degree in Business and Economics.
Those years taught me a great deal about responsibility, running a business, dealing with customers and solving problems.
But when our family business closed in early 2023, I found myself thinking seriously about what I wanted to do next.
I had spent much of my professional life helping build and operate a traditional business.
Now I wanted to explore whether I could create something of my own online.
Something that wasn’t tied to one physical location.
Something I could gradually develop through my own skills, content and ideas.
And something that could eventually provide more freedom in my working life.
My Affiliate Marketing Journey Started in May 2026
I’ve been interested in online business opportunities for a long time.
But I’ll admit something.
I’ve sometimes been too easily distracted by new ideas, tools and opportunities.
It’s easy to jump from one promising system to another without giving any of them enough time to work.
In late May 2026, I decided to take a more focused approach.
Instead of constantly looking for the next opportunity, I wanted to build a real foundation.
That meant concentrating on affiliate marketing, creating useful content, developing an email list and learning how online traffic and sales actually work.
I joined ClickBank Profit Club and began studying a more structured approach to affiliate marketing.
Since then, I’ve been learning, experimenting and documenting my results.
What I’m Building Today
My online business currently has several connected parts.
Affiliate Marketing and Email Marketing
I’m building this website into a resource for people interested in affiliate marketing, online income and practical digital marketing strategies.
I publish articles about what I’m learning, what I’m testing and what my results actually look like.
I’m also working on growing my email list and understanding how to turn relevant traffic into longer-term relationships with readers.
YouTube: Fit After 40
I’m developing a YouTube channel called Fit After 40 – https://www.youtube.com/@FitAfter40Life
The channel focuses on home fitness, exercise equipment and products that can help people stay active.
I’ve been learning about product research, video production, YouTube SEO and affiliate marketing through Amazon.
It’s a different business model from promoting digital products, and I’m enjoying the opportunity to develop new skills.

I don’t believe there’s a magic shortcut to building a successful online business.
And I certainly don’t want to pretend that everything I try works.
Some experiments will fail.
Some articles won’t attract visitors.
Some weeks will produce very little revenue.
But when something does work, I want to understand why.
And hopefully share something useful with others along the way.

A Little More About Me
There’s more to life than working on websites and checking affiliate dashboards!
Outside of work, I enjoy running, cycling, walking, strength training and reading.
Exercise is an important part of my daily routine.
I enjoy staying active, challenging myself and continuing to learn new things.
I live in a small Swedish town of around 3,000 people, where my mother and older brother also live.
And since you’ve made it this far, here are a few random facts about me.
Favourite food: Steak and fries.
Favourite place: Gothenburg, one of my favourite cities in Sweden.
Something I’m terrible at: Finding my way around. My sense of direction is absolutely hopeless. Thank goodness for Google Maps!
I believe people connect more easily with a real person than a faceless website.
That’s why I want to share a little about the person behind this blog, not just the business.
Why I’m Sharing This Journey
My goal isn’t simply to make money online.
I want to build something useful, develop new skills and create a working life with greater freedom.
And if the things I learn can help other people avoid mistakes or make better decisions, that makes the journey even more worthwhile.
I won’t promise overnight success.
I won’t claim that anyone can automatically earn thousands of dollars by following a particular system.
What I can promise is to share my experiences as openly as possible.
The progress.
The disappointments.
The lessons.
And hopefully plenty of successes too.
