This morning, I signed a 12-month mentorship agreement with John Thornhill, who will be working with me as my coach and mentor over the next year.
I can’t share the details of the agreement, but I can say one thing:
I’m incredibly excited to get started.
This feels like an important new step in my online business journey, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what we can build over the coming 12 months.
The last couple of mornings have also started very early. And when I say early, I mean very early.
Luckily, there are two things that usually help me get going: coffee and exercise.
This morning, I started the day with some strength training followed by cycling. I was tired when I got up, but once I had moved my body and had some coffee, I felt much more ready for the day ahead.
Sometimes you just have to work with the energy you have.
A New Step in My Online Business Journey
I’ve spent a lot of time over the past months trying different strategies, building my audience, learning affiliate marketing and figuring out what actually works.
Now I’m looking forward to having someone with John’s experience helping me put the pieces together and focus on the things that can make the biggest difference.
If you’re also trying to build an online income and want to see the system I’ve been using during my journey, you can check out the ClickBank Profit Challenge here.
It’s one of the programs I’ve personally been working with as I build my affiliate marketing business.
Where Things Stand Today
There hasn’t been any movement in my numbers since my previous update.
My email list currently stands at:
24 email subscribers
And my total earnings from this journey are still:
Just over $1,000
No new breakthrough to report there today.
But that’s part of why I’m documenting this journey publicly.
Some days you make sales.
Some days your list grows.
Some days nothing happens at all.
And then there are days like today, when something happens behind the scenes that could potentially have a much bigger impact further down the road.
Signing this 12-month mentorship agreement definitely feels like one of those moments.
In my previous online business journey update, I wrote about my latest progress, including another subscriber and what was happening with my mentorship plans.
Today, that journey has taken another step forward.
The agreement is signed.
Now it’s time to get to work.
Back to the Usual Routine
Yesterday there was no update here on the blog because I was away at a meeting for the entire day.
Today is different.
No meetings.
That means I can get back to my normal routine of publishing content across my social media channels and continuing to build the different pieces of my online business.
It’s not always glamorous work.
Publishing posts, creating content, checking results and doing it all again the next day can sometimes feel repetitive.
But consistency is something I’m becoming increasingly convinced matters enormously when you’re starting from scratch.
Every post, video, email and new subscriber is another small piece of the bigger picture.
Tomorrow: Back to YouTube
Tomorrow, I have another meeting scheduled with my mentor who is helping me create YouTube videos for the second niche I’ve mentioned previously.
That’s another project I’m very interested to see develop.
I’m deliberately testing several different ways of building online income, but I’m also learning that there’s a big difference between simply trying lots of things and actually building systems around them.
That’s one reason I’m so excited about the next 12 months.
I want more structure.
I want to know where my time is best spent.
And most importantly, I want to turn all of this activity into something that produces consistent results.
