ClickBank recurring commissions are becoming an increasingly interesting part of my affiliate marketing journey. Yesterday, I received my second $60 payment from the same customer — and that felt very good.
The customer originally signed up for a 12-month subscription through ClickBank Profit Club. I received a commission from the original payment, and now another $60 payment has arrived from the same subscription.
It is only one customer, of course, but this is exactly the kind of income I would like to build more of.
In my previous post, I wrote about the importance of staying consistent and appreciating the smaller wins along the way. If you missed it, you can read it here:
How to Stay Consistent in Online Business: Small Wins
This second payment feels like another example of why consistency matters.
Why ClickBank Recurring Commissions Are So Interesting
A normal affiliate sale is great.
Someone clicks your link, buys a product and you receive a commission.
But recurring affiliate commissions can make one successful referral more valuable over time.
Instead of needing a completely new customer for every commission, an existing customer can potentially generate additional commissions as long as the subscription continues.
That is what happened to me yesterday.
The $60 itself is obviously welcome, but I think what excites me more is what it represents.
I would love to have several customers like this.
Then several more.
I am convinced that if I continue building my traffic, email list, content and overall affiliate marketing system, more recurring commissions will eventually follow.
There are never any guarantees in affiliate marketing, and subscriptions can of course be cancelled. But this is another small indication that the system I am building can produce results beyond a single transaction.
ClickBank Profit Club is the program that helped me generate my first meaningful affiliate marketing income and is also where this recurring $60 commission originated.

One Customer Can Become More Valuable
This is something I appreciate more now than when I started.
At the beginning of an affiliate marketing journey, the main goal is often simply to make a sale.
Any sale.
You want proof that somebody you do not know will actually click one of your links, trust your recommendation and make a purchase.
Once that starts happening, the next question becomes more interesting:
How do I build a system that can do it repeatedly?
Recurring commissions add another element to that equation.
The work that brought in a customer originally may continue creating income later.
That does not mean passive income magically appears without work. I still need to publish, improve my content, grow my audience and bring new people into the business.
But it does mean that some of yesterday’s work can potentially contribute to tomorrow’s income.
I like that idea very much.
A Relatively Quiet Day Today
Today should actually be a fairly calm day.
I only have a one-hour shift at my regular job, so I will have plenty of time for the other things I want to accomplish.
First, there will be a training session.
Training is something I try to keep as a regular part of my routine even while spending more time on the online business. I think having that structure helps in other areas as well.
After this article is published, I will also do my usual social media distribution.
That means giving the article a chance to reach people beyond the website itself rather than simply pressing publish and hoping somebody discovers it.
Every article becomes another small piece of the business.
Some will generate very little traffic. Others may continue attracting visitors for months or longer. I cannot know in advance which ones will eventually become the most valuable.
So I keep publishing.
Time to Start Another YouTube Video
I will also begin working on a new YouTube video today.
YouTube has become another important learning experience for me.
There is much more involved than simply creating a video and uploading it. I have been learning about scripting, thumbnails, editing, Shorts, pacing and making sure the visual content actually matches what is being said.
There is still plenty to improve.
But that is also part of what makes it interesting.
The next video does not need to be perfect. It needs to be better than the previous one.
Then the video after that should hopefully be better again.
The same principle applies to my blog, my emails and almost everything else I am building.
Building Something That Compounds
What I increasingly like about this business is that different pieces can start working together.
For me, ClickBank recurring commissions are becoming another interesting piece of that system.
A blog post can bring somebody to the website.
That person might join my email list.
An email could introduce them to an offer.
A YouTube video could bring someone else into the same system.
And when someone purchases a subscription-based product, one referral can potentially turn into more than one commission.
Yesterday’s second $60 payment is a small example of that.
I am certainly not at the point where I can rely on recurring affiliate income every month.
But I now have proof in my own ClickBank account that one customer can generate another payment after the original sale.
The next goal is obvious.
I want more of them.
And I genuinely believe they will come if I continue doing the work.
For today, that means a workout, publishing and sharing this article, working on another YouTube video and spending just one hour at my regular job.
Nothing spectacular.
Just another day of building.
And hopefully, yesterday’s second $60 recurring payment is one of many more to come.
