My $0 to $10K/month online business journey continues today — but this Sunday will look a little different from most days.
I woke up feeling very well-rested this morning, which is always a great way to start the day.
Today is election day here in Sweden, and as I mentioned yesterday, I’ll be spending part of the day helping with the election in my local municipality.
Once our work is finished, those of us who have been working together will round off the day with a pizza.
Not exactly a normal Sunday — but I’m looking forward to it.
Election Day Without Turning This Into a Political Blog
Tonight, I’ll obviously be following the election coverage on TV.
I certainly have a clear opinion about who I would like to win. 🙂
But this isn’t a political blog, so I’ll leave it at that.
This blog is about documenting my journey from $0 toward $10,000 per month online — including the ordinary life happening around it.
Yesterday, I wrote about continuing to build the business while preparing for today’s election.

The Business Continues as Usual
Despite everything happening today, I’ll still be doing the regular work on my online business.
That means publishing and sharing content across:

- Substack
My numbers haven’t changed since my previous update.

There will naturally be days when those numbers don’t move.
What matters to me right now is continuing to build, publish and learn.

I’m Starting to Track My Traffic More Carefully
One thing that is changing today is how I track my content.
I’m going to start using tracking on the links I share so I can get a clearer picture of which platforms are actually sending visitors to my blog.
For example, rather than simply knowing how much traffic the blog receives overall, I want to become better at answering questions such as:
How much traffic is Facebook actually sending?
What is coming from Substack?
Is Pinterest producing visitors?
What about X and LinkedIn?
And, eventually, I want a clearer picture of which traffic sources result in people taking the next step.
This is something I’ve discussed during my mentorship, and I think it could become extremely useful as I collect more data.
Instead of guessing which platforms deserve the most attention, I want the numbers to help answer that question.
A New Month of Data Begins
The interesting thing about tracking is that today’s numbers don’t really matter.
What I’m interested in is what the data looks like after I’ve collected enough of it.
If one platform consistently produces significantly more traffic or engagement than another, that’s useful information.
It can help me decide where to spend more of my limited time — and where perhaps I shouldn’t spend as much.
So this will be another experiment that I’ll document here as the journey continues.

It’s going to be an unusual day, but the business doesn’t need to stop just because life gets busy.
That’s one of the things I’m enjoying about building this gradually.
Tomorrow, it will be interesting to see what another new week brings.
And I’ll keep documenting the journey from $0 toward $10K/month as it happens.
